Royal Cafe & Filippo's Italian Bistro
The Mancini Family's legendary Royal Cafe has been in existence for all of 97 years. This long history of making ice cream has made it part of their family heritage. This has helped make their ice-cream one of the finest brands in Scotland. At Mancini's, the focus is on both taste and quality. They use fine ingredients, traditional methods and don't add unnecessary additives.
The recently refurbished and rebranded Royal Cafe & Filippo's Italian Bistro in Ayr is something of an institution with visitors and holidaymakers returning year after year to enjoy the finest ice cream, traditional fish teas and the very special atmosphere of a family run Italian cafe. Filippo's Italian Bistro now also serves beautiful, authentic dishes along with handmade pizzas and their own sauces.
When Antonio Mancini first opened his cafe in 1913 he established a family dynasty which has maintained a reputation for delicious meals and award winning ice cream.
These days they pride themselves on both our tradition and experience whilst pushing the boundaries of what you can do with ice cream and unique wedding cakes.
