Catrine House Coffee Shop, Ice Cream Parlour and Farm Shop
Located in picturesque open countryside on the popular River Ayr Walk, Catrine House is a welcoming and cosy Scandinavian style log building housing their new purpose built coffee shop, ice cream parlour & farm shop.
Bring the whole family along and let the children run around outside in the large grass field with play area while you relax and try a delicious sundae or cone. Choose from a range of tempting home made cakes with a cup of tea or freshly brewed coffee, or a bowl of hearty homemade soup together with a freshly made toasted sandwich, wrap or panini. Much of the produce used in the menu and on sale in the farm shop is produced locally or on our farm.
Catrine House makes their own award winning, traditional ice cream using their own fresh milk and cream from their prize winning herd of pedigree Ayrshire cows, along with fresh Scottish free-range eggs & the best quality sugar. 'They also produce fruit sorbet in the classic French way using fresh fruit, which is sourced locally wherever possible.
The new playbarn for 2011 with its rustic straw bales, sandpits and peddle tractors is great fun for kids!
